Humans innovate and evolve (he said). But what would happen if people started to become a robot, aka Cyborg? A highly controversial scientific breakthrough has been made by scientists from Tel Aviv University, where they have created a special chip that serves to replace the parts of the brain, aka artificial brain, especially the brain that is damaged or malfunction.
The breakthrough is expected to be able to overcome various diseases caused by malfunctions of the brain such as Parkinson's, and others. According to Professor Matti Mintz a psychobiologist who conducted this research, that they tried to replicate the brain with electronic devices and try to equate the function of an electronic chip with the function of the brain.
Although this chip is a new test done on rats, but the results are quite significant, where the chip is able to replace parts of the brain that functions to coordinate the movement of mice.
Work function of this chip is very similar to parts of the brain that mimic natural neuronal activity, where the chips receive, interpret and transmit sensory information to and from the brain stem, and a bridge that serves the brain coordinate the body parts.
Professor Mintz stated that this study proves that the information from the brain can be recorded and translated by electronic logic.
I wonder what would happen if the chip artificial brain is finally working properly as the human brain. maybe someday will be present in our midst, creatures cyborg engineering lab results, or soon will be present robots with the ability of the brain that can feel like a human being and has a mind of its own way thanks to the development of chip-style artificial brain of this robot cyborg.
