An Australian Paleontologists, Birger Rasmussen managed to find a similarity between the minerals in the earth with minerals on the moon. Birger Rasmussen has found that the mineral named tranquillityite brought by the Apollo astronauts in 1969 turned out to have identical similarity with existed mineral on Earth since billions of years ago.
As in the know, when the Apollo missions landed on the moon in 1969, the astronauts returned to Earth with rocks that contain minerals that are considered odd and later was named armalcolite, pyroxferroite, and tranquillityite. title = Mineral of the Month

When then the first two minerals (Mineral of the Month, Mineral on Earth), namely pyroxferroite found armalcolite and its similarity to the minerals in the earth, then the mineral tranquillityite regarded as a mineral that does not exist on earth. But the discovery of Birger Rasmussen, 43 years later since the Apollo crew returned, quite surprising.
Because scientists believe that during this tranquillityite mineral on earth are mineral of the Moon. This raises the idea that chemical and geological processes on the mineral moon is actually the same as the one on the earth, and an idea that the moon is part of the planet earth that was broken in the era of billions of years ago.
